  • What elements does bikefitting consist of?
For all bikefitting sessions we do the following: Intake interview where discuss expectations and any concerns Body assessment - where we determine: muscle balance, flexibility, mobility, identification of posture disorders, bending ability of individual body parts. Measurement of foot pressure as well as foot tilt (arch and foot analyses). Optimal position: selection of the height of the saddle and handlebars, stem parameters, retraction of the saddle, angle of the saddle, angle of the handlebars and cockpit, length of the bike. Detailed analyzes of foot support in terms of three-dimensional movement (wedges, spacers, variable q-factor, activation or support of the foot, de-rotation of the trunk, change of the support plane, passive or active compensation of asymmetry.) Video record of before-after position and change analysis. Tensometric measurements of pressure on the saddle, pelvic oscillation, recording pressure in all positions of the hands on the handlebars. Measurement of the distribution of the center of gravity of the body on the bike. A detailed feedback report from the entire bikefitting session - we send it by e-mail. A basic set of exercises to improve functional symmetry and stretch, physiotherapy recommendations - if necessary. Assembly of bicycle components on site: stems, spacers, saddle, seatposts, etc.
  • Will you adjust my bike during the session or will you only give the feedback ?
During the session , we will assemble any necessary bicycle components on site: stems, spacers, saddle, seatposts, etc. and where adjustment of height or angles is required, we will do it as part of the session. We ensure that when you are done with the session - everything will be adjusted and added - so allow you to be in the correct position.
